The activities on Saturday were a huge success! Over 100 units participated in the parade, (making it the largest fire apparatus parade in the state of Illinois recent history). After the parade, the crowd gathered under the huger flag drapped across Broadway and watched various fire-rescue demonstrations, shopped at our fire-matic flea market, ate a variety of food, and listened to the band Generations.
