Firehouses (or fire stations) come in all shapes, sizes and architectural styles. Some are made to blend in with surrounding buildings, while others were made to be unique, and stand-out from their neighbors.
Remember, gingerbread entry could be a fire department's training-tower, or perhaps a forest fire lookout, or for the really adventerious you could create a firefighting scene, complete with a burning building, fire apparatus, and gingerbread firefighters.
To help generate ideas, we've selected one hundred of our favorite firehouses from around the world -- old and new, big and small -- and posted them here for your inspiration.
