South Bunk Room
Reinstalling the original bay-window, refinishing the
maple floors, reinstallation of original wood trim and baseboard, new
electrical wiring, paint, and minor improvements.

Here a worker from Floors Inc. carefully prepares the original 1894
layer of
of wide-plank pine flooring. Although plans had originally called
for
refinishing the 1930s era narrow-plank maple floors found in
both bunk rooms, this layer of flooring was damaged
beyond repair during the numerous water leaks.
