Group Tours
We provide special, guided tours for all ages and occasions. Typically tours last 45 minutes to an hour and include a “hands-on” bucket brigade, cranking the siren, and watching a demonstration of a fire alarm system as a bell rings and a ticker tape notifies the station of an alarm.

Arrangements can be made to combine your visit to the museum with a tour of the Aurora Fire Department headquarters located next door,

Discount rates and flexible hours are available for groups of ten or more.

 

Children and adults have been touring the building at 53 N. Broadway since 1894, first when it was the Central Fire Station, and now as the Aurora Regional Fire Museum. Book your visit today, and keep the tradition alive.



Building Rentals
Whether it is a kid's firehouse themed birthday or a corporate meeting in our spacious "Hayloft" theater, the Aurora Regional Fire Museum can accommodate your special group.


The “Hayloft Theater” features tiered seating for fifty, and audio-visual equipment (video projector, stereo sound, DVD and VHS players, and computer hookups, and wireless internet). The adjacent kitchen has a refrigerator, sink, microwave, and full sized oven and stove.
