Gingerbread Firehouse Contest Photos

Join us on Saturday November 24, from 1 to 4pm, with special activities, FREE admission for the day, a visit from Santa the Fire Chief, storytelling, a holiday mouse hunt, and more.
Run, Run, fast as you can -- come to the Aurora Regional Fire Museum to see -- and help judge -- the 3rd annual Gingerbread FIREhouse Contest, exhibition, and charity raffle for the holidays. A dozen gingerbread FIREhouses, fire stations, and burning buildings, have been specially crafted for this event. All entries must depict a firefighting themed architectural structure, real or imaginary — IE: a firehouse, burning building, etc. Click here to read all about our contest rules, get your recipe perfected, and start designing a gingerbread FIREhouse.
The exhibit opens and will be judged on Saturday November 24. Prizes will be awarded by a panel of judges, as well a people's choice. All gingerbread FIREhouses will remain on exhibit at the Aurora Regional Fire Museum though Saturday December 22nd, and most will be available by raffle.
